New, open source Gotek firmware: FlashFloppy FlashFloppy is a alternative firmware for the floppy emulator Gotek, which original firmware meanwhile is not developed further. Additional to the proprietary alternative HxC, now an open source option is available. A first alpha version has been released. Currently FlashFloppy only works if no other (external) disk drives are connected. Besides, the open source FlashFloppy File Selector also is available, which can be used to choose the currently used disk image under AmigaOS. (cg) (Translation: dr) [News message: 25.
