Amiga-Emulator: WinUAE 3.2 emulates PCI-hardware and bridgeboards
For the first time, version 3.2 of the well-known Amiga emulator WinUAE can emulate a lot of additional hardware extensions. Besides, the 680x0 JIT and the PPC-emulation are now 64-bit compatible. WinUAE now requires a processor with Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (Pentium 4 or later).

  • A2410 RTG Zorro II board
  • DCTV video port graphics adapter (Partially)

Other changes:

  • Right control = right Windows key option
  • Memory accesses only -cycle-exact mode
  • UAE devices (uaeserial etc) are compatible with KS 1.2 and older
  • Improved compatibility with very old A500 config files
Fixed bugs:
  • WinPCap network mode didn't detect any devices
  • 68030 data cache emulation fixes
  • Custom to/from RTG mode switch didn't check for filter changes
  • JIT on/off on the fly change (outside of GUI) was unreliable
  • Keyboard layout changed (B/C only) during device re-enumeration
  • D3D9 non-shader mode forgot scanline texture when switching modes
  • Audio wave recording created huge broken wave files
  • It was not possible to select HDF PCMCIA SRAM and IDE options
  • Flash ROM and RTC file dialogs didn't allow creation of new files

Defender of the Crown - Extended Collectors Cut
In a limited edition of 500 pieces, the current holder of the Cinemaware rights is going release the classics of the software developers. The first game is "Defender of the Crown", which from now on is available in the online shop. In December the game will be delivered.


The "Extended Collectors Cut" is available for about 45 US-Dollar and includes:
  • all released versions of "Defender of the Crown" as ROM or disk images on CD
  • an extended version for the Amiga with an additional comic-intro. This version can be played on Amiga CD32, on an Amiga with CD-Rom or on a Windows PC (using a stand-alone emulation). MAC and Linux support is currently tested
  • printed manual
  • 2 CDs - for PC and Amiga CD32.
  • Soundtrack on the CD
  • 3 postcards with motifs from "Defender of the Crown"
  • Poster
  • Printable labels for collectors who are going to create disks from the ADF-images on the CD
  • Sticker

Renaming picture files: Exutil 0.4 (AmigaOS 3/4, MorphOS, AROS)
The MUI-based Exutil which was written with Hollywood, renames picture files using the date of recording saved in the their EXIF-information or the date of the file. Changes in version 0.4:
  • new: original file name extension gets conserved
  • all kind of files can get renamed now
  • new: file time optionally part of the new name
  • new: content of entire drawers can get renamed

New Blue Metal Rose EP with remix by Barry Leitch
The latest EP written by Blue Metal Rose partly was composed using OctaMed Soundstudio. Additionally the new release includes a remix of the song "Drei Töne" provided by Barry Leitch, who is known from the soundtracks of several Amiga game classics. On CD the EP already is available in the shop of Blue Metal Rose, a digital download will be avaiable on 11.12.2015. (cg) (Translation: dr)
