Meeting: Pictures und a short report from Commodore-Meeting in Vienna
Stefan Egger writes: I posted a few photos from the Commodore Meeting in Vienna on Flickr. Here's a small report from the meeting:

In addition to lots of C64 computers and similar hardware (roboter arms, C116, Commodore Pong games, a Japanese VIC 1001), lots of Amiga systems were presented at the meeting: Stefan Egger ("computer collection vienna") was showing the very first and very last Amiga models: the A1000 prototype 'Velvet' and one of the few Amiga 4000T systems manufactured by Commodore.

AMike had brought his Amiga 1000 which was featuring a new motherboard ('GBA060'), Turrican had a snow white Amiga 1200 with black keys running various scene demos.

Thomas Dorn, former Commodore Austria employee, was demonstrating something very special: his Amiga 4000 was running a train control system developed by Siemens.

Reinhold Schertler was showing his Amiga 2000 equipped with a 68030 CPU, which was playing videos with a resolution of up to 320x216 pixels at 15 FPS featuring 22 kHz stereo sounnd. (snx) (Translation: cg)
