`06.Jan.2014` amigafuture.de (Webseite)	AmigaOS 4/AROS: Anniversary special edition of arcade game "Boh" On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the arcade game Boh, the author has released a "special edition" on CD which provides some improvements: includes all the updates released previously reworks the video modes handling (full screen by default; window on 16-bit screens allowed; more robust; etc.) adds the CRT and LCD pixel modes adds the 5x zoom adds 5 new missions, bringing the total to a massive 60 assigns the pause to the [ESCAPE] key (instead of a specific key), which thus no longer causes the immediate abort of the current mission reworks the menu controls (more keys; do not depend anymore on the in-game controls configuration) adds the emergency configuration reset (assigned to the key [F12]) adds the screenshot functionality (assigned to the key [PRINT]) makes quitting by means of [ALT]+[F4] available on all platforms sets the default URL for records submission to www.retream.com/BOH (it is no longer necessary to specify such URL manually in the configuration file) replaces the copy code with an email address for the records submission updates the manuals applies many other optimizations/changes/fixes, for more performance, polish and robustness The CD includes versions for AmigaOS 4, AROS, Linux, MacOS and Windows and provides an installation programm which installs the latest version or can update an existing version as well as the complete soundtrack and high-resolution images of the DVD-covers. `06.Jan.2014` amiga.org (Webseite)	Enhanced emergency disk for AmigaOS 3.9 Soon an update for the bootdisk-creator Amiga 911 Maker will be released which can create an enhanced version of an emergency disk for AmigaOS 3.9. As a little preview the author has made available some versions of his "Emergency Disk II": The new emergency disk should work on all A600/A1200 with at least 6 MB RAM. Additional to the option to boot with a disk, then to integrate a CD-ROM drive and accessing the OS 3.9-CD, the Emergency Disk II supports further options to boot or install the system : You can use an AmigaOS 3.9 ISO image which can be present on any drive that gets mounted on startup You can also use an external USB CD-ROM drive you can make a AmigaOS 3.9 USB pendrive or a Compact Flash card to be used with a CF-PCMCIA adapter Due to legal reasons the disk does not include all necessary files - they have to be imported with the tool "Activate E-Disk-II" from an existing AmigaOS CD or installation. `06.Jan.2014` PPA (Webseite)	Game: Rise of the Triad ECS/AGA/RTG 1.0.0 After the version for AmigaOS 4, the Ego-shooter Rise of the Triad now also is available for AmigaOS 3.1. A 68030-processor, at least 16 MB Fast-RAM and 20 MB harddrive memory are required. The game was originally published by Apogee Software in 1994 for the PC. In 2002 the source code was disclosed. The browser currently is in a very early stage of development. It features "HTML5, CSS3 and plugin support, tabs, bookmarks, download manager and optimal privacy protection. `04.Jan.2014`	Linux: Kernel 3.13-rc6 for Sam4x0-boards and AmigaOne X1000 Today the Linux-Kernel 3.13-rc6 has been released for the Sam440ep and Sam460ex board as well as for the AmigaOne X1000 for testing purposes. 'Spectre660' has written the version for ACube System's computers, Olof Johansson and Christian Zigotzky have provided the kernel for the AmigaOne X1000. Please note that the Radeon Dynamic Power Management does still not work on these computers. Therefore you have to add the Boot-parameter radeon.dpm=0.
