MorphOS: Blender 2.50 Alpha 0
Guillaume 'Yomgui' Roguez ha published an update of his MorphOS-port of Blender. On the official website you can find detailed information about the changes.

The author gave some hints for the MorphOS-version:
  • You do not need to install it. Simply extract the archive and use Blender.
  • Lauffähigkeit auf dem Efika wird nicht garantiert
  • If you want to configure the size of the start window, then launch Blender from the Shell with the paramter "-p", followed by the figures of x and y position as well as of the width and highness of the window. The figures must be seperated by four blanks.
  • Blender must be copied to the harddrive. Starting from the RAM-Disk is not supported
  • On his website the author has published all known bugs. Please do not post them again
  • FFMPEG-support works but is not optimized for Altivec
  • Thumbnails created by integrated file-browser are saved in PROGDIR:.thumbnails/

David Brunet (ANF)

Update of Amiga Games List
David Brunet has updated his database of Amiga games and presents issue 39 of the "Amiga Games List" which now has 11192 entries in the following categories:
  • 10143 games
  • 887 data-disks and extensions
  • 127 game or level editors
  • 35 interpreters

In order to focus on the "proper" Amiga games this last issue no longer includes several games which does not depend on platforms and which can be only played with interpreter. Additionally the releases of the year 2009 were added and the database does now know the licence type "Creative Commons" and the programming language AmiBlitz. (cg) (Translation: (dr)
