MorphOS: Usenet-Reader Newscoaster 1.63 RC1 (Beta)
Tomasz "Kaczus" Kaczanowski is working on a port of the MUI-based Newsreader Newscoaster for MorphOS. The latest version which was already published three weeks ago does not use the MUI-classes NList and NListtree any longer. Additionally the memory management was reworked and some bugs fixed.

According to the author this version should run more stable than previous MorphOS-port or the original 68k-version. Because of the changes in the MUI-section some functions do not work as usual.

Indivision ECS and Apollo 630 in Amiga 600
On his "extreme A500 upgrading page" Christian Krenner has documented how he managed to upgrade his Amiga 600 as much as possible. The computer has now an Indivision-Scandoubler, a 68030-CPU with 40 MHz, 34 MByte RAM, 20 GByte harddrive, PCMCIA-Network card as well as USB- and VGA-ports.

The author particularly points out that the combination Apollo 630 and Indivision ECS developed by Individual Computers is not supported! If you build the same combination you do it at your own risk. (cg) (Translation: dr)

Cross-Compiler Updates for AmigaOS 4
Joachim "Zerohero" Birging has published updates of his Cross-Compiler-Tools for i686-cygwin and i686-linux. An update is strongly recommended because compiled applications on AMCC 440-processors may cause problems. (cg) (Translation: dr)
