Music CD: Second edition of Symphonic Shades
Press release Sold out way too quick in December last year, now it is back! With its transparent standard-tray the new edition is lower priced than the first edition. All other details incl. CD content and the extensive booklet with interview, photos and artwork are identical.

The CD presents all songs of the concert performed in August 2008 in Cologne, which was a world-premiere: Minimalist homecomputer sounds turned into arrangements for 120 musicians of orchestra and choir - a complete symphonic concert dedicated to the works of one video game musician exclusively.

The name of this person is Chris Huelsbeck, who is regarded as legend among enthusiasts for his music in game classics of the C64- and Amiga-homecomputer era such as "Giana Sisters" or "Turrican". The songs were rearranged by demoscene legend Jonne Valtonen (aka Purple Motion / Future Crew), director was Grammy-winning artist Arnold Roth. (snx)

Guru Meditation: The Amiga Joyboard
According to the legend the name "Guru Meditation" is derived from a game which the original Amiga developers played with a self-made joystick replacement called Joyboard as soon as the Amiga prototypes did not work any longer.

Exactly this game Ian Bogost has implemented now - for the Atari VCS. 25 years ago such a Joyboard was offered for it as well. This limited edition which has only 10 pieces consisting of game modul, Atari VCS-console and an original Amiga Joyboard (!). If you are interested in you should contact Bogost per eMail.

If you miss this offer you can buy an iPhone version in Apple's AppStore - but without Joyboard. (cg) (Translation: dr)
