`12.Jan.2009`	MorphOS: Web-Browser Netsurf 2.0dev (beta) (Update) NetSurf is a browser, originally developed for RiscOS, which can be used with 17 MB memory and e.g. supports HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1. Netsurf still has not any Javascript support. The version for MorphOS was done by Ilkka "itix" Lehtoranta and includes a MUI user-interfacee and an IBrowse compatible hotlist. Netsurf at least requires MorphOS 2.2. The current beta version includes several minor limitations (you cannot change the hotlist, you cannot abort downloads...) which will be fixed during the next two weeks. Update: If Netsurf does not view any text you have to download the file ttengine.database from the website of the author. `12.Jan.2009` Amigaharry (ANF)	MorphOS: File manager DrawerBall 0.6j Tom 'Amigaharry' Duin has published Drawerball 0.6j which is a very early version of a file manager. Changes in this version: Preconfigured the first "Volume" usermenu, you can load "Ram Disk" and "Boot disk" into the DrawerBall lister The 2nd "Utilities" usermenu holds 3 menuitems using standard MorphOS commands Bugfixes. News in version 0.3: Sound of the GUI finished DolbyDigital 5.1 Standard is now supported as well as "extended Stereo". GUI can now test the data consistence of the VideoDVD-directory DolbyDigital-sound can be calculated as preview All sound channles can be played seperately to test them The maximum capacity of a self-made VideoDVD is now 3.95 GByte Tghe menu and intros of a VideoDVD are kept in stereo modus while all tracks and chapters can be calculated with 6-channel sound DVD-Engine 0.3 requires further Shell tools such as Playac3, Multiview and mplex. An Internet connection is required for downloading the necassary files. With Ghostscript you can show, print and convert Postscript and PDF files. `11.Jan.2009` Andreas Hänsch (ANF)	AROS: Interim report about browser port Andreas Hänsch wrote: "In December Stanislaw Szymczyk officially started the AROS-Bounty 'Port an Open Source Browser to AROS' and now there are already some first results (screenshot). Based on some parts of the development of Robert Norris the unstable port of the Origyn Web Browser can already view simple websites like Google, aros.org and aros-exec.org without any problems.
