a1k.org: Forum temporary offline The forum of a1k.org is temporarily offline. According to the administrator the forum had too much traffic. Therefore the provider DomainFactory has deactivated the datanbase. A move to a new server should solve this problem in future. But there is still not a final decision. AmigaOS 4.1 / SAM440ep presentation at Colmar Multimedia Expo According to the Swiss trader RELEC the PPC computer SAM440ep together with AmigaOS 4.1 will be presented at the Colmar Multimedia Expo 2008. AROS bounty: open source release and AROS port of Poseidon USB Press release: San Antonio, September 22, 2008 power2PEOPLE is pleased to announce its latest bounty initiative. Chris Hodges, the original author of the Poseidon USB system, has proposed to undertake the task of porting Poseidon USB to AROS and release his work under the APL (AROS Public License) transforming Poseidon USB into an open source project. AmigaSYS: Update of AGA distribution AmigaSYS is a preinstalled Workbench for the Amiga emulator WinUAE with many extensions. Additionally a file with the Kickstart-ROM as well as at least one Workbench disk of version 3.x are required. The new AGA version of AmigaSYS was completely reworked in many points. AROS/x86: Client for the MMORPG Eternal Lands ported Krzysztof 'Deadwood' Smiechowicz has ported the client of the free MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) Eternal Lands for AROS/x86 (screenshot). AROS user mihcaels has created a project pictogram which sets the current directory path, the stack size to 200000 and starts the game.
