MorphOS: Nebulus clone Tower Toppler

GuruMeditation sponsors OS4 developers
The Swedish dealer GuruMeditation donates an AmigaOne XE to the AmigaOS 4 developer Álmos Rajnai. Rajnai is responsible for the JIT 68k emulator (Petunia) of OS4 and worked with an Amiga 4000 until now. (cg) (Translation: cad)

Encyclopedia: Big Book of Amiga Hardware under new direction
Press release:  The Big Book of Amiga Hardware, probably the biggest Amiga hardware reference on the web, changes its owner. Ian Chapman has given the project over to "Amiga Future" and Mario Misic, he stated personal reasons as reason for this move.

MorphOS: Demo version of HyperCannon (update)
Kelly Samel is making available a new demo version of his shooter HyperCannon. HyperCannon will be distributed as freeware now, contrary to the original planning, those who would like to support further development can grant the author a donation per Paypal.

Update: (18.9.2006, 15:30, cg)

In the meantime, a new binary is available, in which some graphics errors were corrected. The file must be copied to the HyperCannon directory.

AISS - Amiga Image Storage System 3.1
At the title link, version 3.1 of the Amiga Image Storage System (AISS) is available. The software is a system to store, access and maintain toolbar images under AmigaOS.

For using AISS 3.x, the Powericons system is recommended. If you still prefer Coloricons please use the special installation script in the 'Glowicons' drawer of the archive (untested).

  • More than 400 image sets (over 1400 single pictures)
  • 24 bit PNG images with 8 bit alpha channel
  • Extensive HTML documentation
  • Printable PDF preview of the images

Windows: Update to the starter software for the broadcast "Neues"
Martin Henke's starter software for the Real stream of the 3sat broadcast "Neues" has experienced an update to version 1.3.3.

The update had become necessary since the server.txt file, which was introduced with version 1.3, was not loaded, and changes to the broadcast data and the program were therefore no longer possible (error message: "Die Datei 'Sendungsdaten.zip' wurde nicht gefunden").

MorphOS: Status-Updates for HyperCannon and Aqua
The MorphOS-version of the point'n click-adventure Aqua is soon available for free download. Furthermore a new demo version of the shoot'em ups HyperCannon will be released which will offer three game environments divided into 24 levels.
