AmigaOS/MorphOS: update for RDesktop client with costs
The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) enables access to applications being executed on a Windows terminal server via the network. For AmigaOS 3/4 and MorphOS there are now updates available.

The updates come with costs, people donating via PayPal under the title link a sum of his/her choice (or has already done so) will receive the latest version of RDesktop via email. (cg) (Translation: wk)

BigRAM 600 new edition finished
The first exemplars tof the new edition of the A600 ChipRAM expansion BigRAM 600 are finished and will be delivered.

WinUAE: Amikit 1.1.1 (Bugfix)

Amiga Inc.: Cooperation with Giesecke & Devrient
Under the title link Amiga Inc. announces a cooperation with the Smart-Card producer Giesecke & Devrient (G&D). There was an agreement that the technologies from Amiga should be demonstrated on the GalaxSIM® hHgh Memory SIM Cards from G&D.

Amiga Inc. obviously is a minor exhibitor at the stand of G&D on the CTIA Wireless 2006 which ends today. (cg) (Translation: dr)

New member of the PPC-family: Kilocore 1025
The manufacturer Rapport is showing a cpu at the Embeddded-Systems-meeting in San Jose. Besides a PowerPC core 1024 it includes so called "8-Bit-Processing-Elements", which are meant for parallel operation of e. g. live video streams. (cg) (Translation: ts)

Event: Amiga hardware meeting in Kiel II / 2006
The Amiga club Schleswig-Holstein will hold a hardware meeting for all interested users in the Fachhochschule Kiel at the 22nd of April. It is possible to bring the own computers and to connect them into a network, internet access is also possible. (cg) (Translation: ts)

AmigaOS 4: Payable update for the RDesktop client
The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) allows access via network to applications, which are executed on a windows terminal server. An update with various bugfixes and optimizations is available now for OS4.

Apple: Boot Camp makes Windows XP running on Intel-Macs possible
In the near future Apple allows its customers to run Microsoft's operating system "Windows XP" on new Intel-Macs with the use of the software "Boot Camp". (snx) (Translation: ts)
