More pictures from the AmCluSt hardware meeting
Under the title link you can find some more snapshots from the hardware meeting of the Amiga Club Steinfurt (AmCluSt) in Dreierwalde from March, 2nd to March, 4th 2004.

'The MCP' wrote about it: I hope that we can repeat this once more. Unfortunately has the community shrinked very much, but we hope that one or the other had a little bit fun in being here. There had been only a little bit (thanks, Thomas) but aside that could the clones and emulators shine with speed and stability.

Maybe a meeting with all German Amiga clubs could be planned? Start something...

In this sense greetz,
The MCP (snx) (Translation: wk)

CAPS project: Exhibiting at Classic Gaming Expo UK / Offline game database
The Classic Amiga Preservation Society, who archive old, copy-protected Amiga games including their copy-protection, have converted another 50 games into the CAPS format.

A list of the new games is available from the CAPS homepage. In the meantime 1599 games have been archived.

Furthermore there is now an XML-based offline version of the games database as a ZIP archive (95 KB) available, which does not yet include the latest 50 entries, though. To display it, an XSL-capable browser is required.

At the Classic Gaming Expo UK on July 24th/25th in Croydon, South London, also the CAPS will be an exhibitor. (snx)

MUIbase v1.8 Released
MUIbase-Version 1.8 is available immediately from http://www.muibase.de and it will also be on Aminet shortly.

New features in MUIbase since version 1.7 are:
  • A new option in the "New Field/Field Modify" window allows changes in the field to be ignored so they are no longer counted as a change in the project.
  • New option to sort alphabetically by trigger functions.
  • New option, to sort tables and fields according to the sequence in the display list.
  • The numbering of the commands GETVIRTUALLISTACTIVE and SETVIRTUALLISTACTIVE have been changed to begin with 1, as opposed to 0. This is more consistent with the numbering of data statements and display lists, in which index 0 relates at the top of the list. Attention: this change functions under circumstantial incompatibilities with existing projects.
  • Correction of false index lists in the user handbook.
  • A few bug fixes.
