Amiga Club Guide Updated To offer users the possibility of finding Amiga clubs in their area, Matthias Muench has established the Amiga Club Guide. Active clubs, societies and user groups in Germany are sorted geographically. The Club Guide has been brought to an up-to-date state and refined somewhat. The IRC lists were removed, because there was not too much interest in that. At this time there are 36 clubs with 847 members registered in the guide.
Through this form

Workshop to Photo CD Making Opened The making of a CD32-bootable photo CD was possible until now only with many special conditions. The program CD32Show has addressed this deficiency and now you can build a collection of your most beautiful pictures with only a few steps. To make this easy you'll find a workshop specially covering the topic at the CD-32 Allianz homepage, a workshop that leads you through the steps to make such a bootable photo CD: the LISTFILES, the startup-sequence, as well as how to burn the recordable CD-ROM.
This workshop should also be interesting to non-CD-32 Amigans who want to use the program "AutoRunNG" to run such a CD on normal Amigas. We wish you all good success in the making of your personal photo CDs! (ps) (Translation: dm) |

amiga-news.de: summer break from the 15th of July to August the 31st 2002 During four years we delivered day by day the latest news without any interruption. Though it is now time for a breather and a time out for all persons involved. For that reason we have planned a longer lasting summer break from July the 15th until August the 31st 2002. During this period there won't be any news and translations, the commentary function and the ANF (possibility to post news online) will be disabled. The forum will be kept enabled. We will announce a talk master who will be responsible for its content. We discussed this issue thoroughly and controversial if, and if so in which kind, we could/should realize such a summer break. A short break will not result in any recovery and a longer break comprises the risk to lose readers. A stopgap for urgend news seemed to be possible but difficult, who wants to be responsible to decide wether a news item is urgent or not? Further more this wouldn't be a real recovery, say nothing half, nothing whole. We trust in the hope that our readers will not have forgotten us after such a long break :). However we will go back to work after the summer break with a whole new motivation. We ask for your understanding and therefore announce this break that early.
