Amiga Unix: Linux based cross-compiler setup for AMIX, AmigaNet update
With gcc-cross-amix, there is now a Linux-based toolchain that allows you to compile programs for Amiga Unix using GCC. GCC 2.7.2 is used as the compiler; proprietary Unix files such as headers or libraries must be copied over from an AMIX installation.

The AMIX driver for "AmigaNet" network cards, which was released in May but had not yet been tested at that time, has since been tested on actual hardware and now also enables Internet access.

Detailed documentation for both end users and interested developers can be found at grimoire-amix. Other active projects related to AMIX:
  • va2000-amix: an AMIX driver for the VA2000 graphics card
  • Xrtg-amix: a port of X11R5, that is build on the VA2000 driver and bypasses the Amiga chipset.
  • lszorro-amix: lists Zorro expansion boards, in the style of lspci/lsusb.
A Discord channel has been set up for discussions about AMIX. (cg)
