Floppy expert: UnifiedFloppyTool (UFT) 4.1.0
UnifiedFloppyTool is a cross-platform tool for working with floppy disk images, offering a uniform interface and functionality for creating, editing and managing various formats of classic floppy disk images (amiga-news.de reported). Version 4.1.0 offers, among others, the following changes:
- KryoFlux – Architecture correction:
- Replaced fabricated USB commands with official DTC subprocess wrapper
- KryoFlux stream format parser (OOB blocks) retained and verified
- Greaseweazle – 16 protocol bugs fixed:
- Correct USB command codes from gw_protocol.h v1.23
- Fixed bandwidth negotiation, SET_BUS_TYPE, GET_FLUX_STATUS
- Proper CRC-based checksum for USB frames
