Announcement: DIY project "Amiga 1600" based on the Amiga 1000
At the title link and via his video channel, 'EMD69' announces his latest project, which he has named "Amiga 1600". Based on the Amiga 1000, the hobbyist wants to present a computer that is more compact, with an integrated power supply, CF card and PCMCIA interface as well as a built-in Gotek drive.
For those who feel confident enough to build a replica, the necessary documentation (including Gerber and STL files) will be made available, possibly for purchase via the forum on his website. According to the entry dated January 5, detailed technical specifications will be published in the coming weeks. (snx)
