Schwarmfinanzierung: Quelloffener IDE/ATAPI-Laufwerksemulator PicoIDE
PicoIDE soll es Besitzern klassischer Computer ermöglichen, alternde Festplatten und CD-ROM-Laufwerke durch Abbilddateien auf SD-Karten zu ersetzen. Herzstück ist ein Raspberry-Pi-RP2350-Microcontroller, das Finanzierungsziel wurde bereits weit übertroffen. (snx)

OpenStreetMap-Anzeiger: MUIMapparium erhält SSL-Unterstützung
MUIMapparium, Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrows OpenStreetMap-Anzeiger, hat nun doch noch ein kleines Update erhalten. Der Anlass: Der Karten-Server setzt inzwischen SSL voraus.
Die Version 0.9 mit SSL-Unterstützung liegt für AmigaOS 3.x, AROS und MorphOS vor. Jene auch in der AmigaOS-4-Fassung zu implementieren hätte indes zu großen Aufwand bedeutet. (snx)
