 | The definitive transition from AROS x86 32-bit to AROS x86 64-bit ABIv11 is imminent. Most of the ‘most important’ 32-bit software has already been converted to 64-bit (see Aros Archive), and the rest can be used via a 32-bit emulator.
Software developed in Hollywood will all be supported by the ‘Emuv0’ emulator, as the author of Hollywood is not interested in 64-bit.

I have been testing the 32-bit emulator for a few days now, and many Hollywood software programmes already work on AROS One 64-bit. At the moment, the emulator is on File so that it can be tested with individual software programmes. Once testing is complete, ‘Emuv0’ will be integrated into the Core and 32-bit software ‘supported by emulation’ will work normally by clicking on it, in the same way as 64-bit Windows.
