Seit heute haben wir auf unserer Homepage ein Forum.
Das Forum soll alle Amiga-User ansprechen. Es können
in diesem Forum Erfahrungen ausgetauscht werden, und
natürlich Hilfe auf allen Ebenen angeboten werden, soweit
es mit dem Amiga zu tun hat.
Natürlich sind auch ein paar Regeln zu beachten, doch

CCC: Europarat gibt Zusatzprotokoll zur Cybercrime-Konvention frei
»32 Bürgerrechtsorganisationen aus 17 Ländern haben Anfang Februar in einem
gemeinsamen Schreiben die Veröffentlichung des Entwurfs eines
Zusatzprotokolls zur Cybercrime-Konvention gefordert, in dem die
Verbreitung von "rassistischen und xenophobischen" Ausdrucksformen im
Netz verboten werden soll. Ähnlich wie bei den ersten Entwürfen der
Cybercrime-Konvention wurde der Entwurf bisher geheimgehalten. Jetzt hat
der Europarat den Entwurf freigegeben.«

Neue Angband-Ports für Amiga
Hi There...
I've finally got around to finishing off all of my Amiga compiles,
and they've all been uploaded. Details below.
News first!
68000 Support
I've decided to drop 68000 support - I'm going by the assumption that
if a user has enough memory to play some of these variants, then they
will have a better processor than the bog standard one. All variants
will now be targetted for the 68020. Demands from some of the
Zangband-based variants are increasing, and with the addition of Lua
into Angband and Zangband, and inveitably into their offspring, then a
basic unexpanded 68000 system just wouldn't be able to cope.
It's been a while since I've had any feedback from a 68000 user - if
what I'm doing is such a bad move, please do not hesitate to contact
me, and I can put together 68000-targetted executables.

AmigaFFE Projekt sucht Frontier-Versionen

Disk-version (andere als Deutsch)

Virtual Dimension (ANF)

VD: Englische Übersetzung des Videos "Vor Ort: Amiga 2001" fertiggestellt
Auch die englische Version des Videos über die "Amiga 2001" von Virtual
Dimension ist inzwischen fertiggestellt. Alle Moderationen, Interviews
und Kommentare wurden synchronisiert (natürlich mit Ausnahme von Ben
Hermans, den man hier komplett im Originalton hören kann), und die
Befragung der Messebesucher wurde untertitelt.

Amiga Arena: Interview mit Stefan Blixth und Aural Ilusion Source
Amiga Arena - Interview
Stefan Blixth, vielen von Ihnen besser unter "OnyxSoft" bekannt, hat bis
heute zahlreiche Tools für den Amiga entwickelt. OnyxBase, QuickNote,
Graphica sind nur einige, wobei Graphica sich noch in der Alpha-Phase
befindet, und noch unveröffentlicht ist.
Die Amiga Arena sprach mit Stefan Blixth über seine neuen Programme, und
ein sehr ausführlicher Kommentar von Stefan rundet das Interview ab. Das
Interview ist in Deutsch
und English vorhanden.

Der bisher unveröffentlichte Source-Code des leider nie erschienenen
Sound-Samplers Aural Ilusion V 3.0 von "Blachford Technology"
liegt nun zum Download und zur freien Weiterentwicklung bereit.
Nach Angaben von Nicolas Blachford darf dieser Code frei verwendet werden.

Malprogramm: PerfectPaint V2.81
Für das Malprogramm PerfectPaint von Georges Halvadjian ist ein Update
auf Version 2.81 erschienen. Voraussetzung ist die Installation der
Version 2.8. Das Update beinhaltet folgende Änderungen:

Textviewer: EvenMore - new plugin
I have created a new Generic plugin. If all the the plugins fail to
recognise a binary file, this plugin will open the file and strip all
lines ending with CR or LF.
This is a 'last resort' plugin, there will be files it will not work on
due to formatting differences, but it can be used for files for some
files which no plugins exist yet (I tested it on an Outlook 2000 email,
worked with no glitches, works with a few glitches on some Mac text
files).
